Spring Style

Spring is here, and with that comes so many opportunities for FUN. The weather is warmer, the sun seems to shine a little brighter...and if you're anything like me, the urge to get out and do something (anything!) is at an all-time high. So when it came time to order some items for my second Zappos Spring Style post (see the first one here), I tried to keep upcoming events in mind. What did I want? What did I need?

So I stuck to three areas: going out, hanging out, and hiking- and tried to choose things I would actually use.

For hanging out, I wanted to find something a little special, something I could wear for a date night or just out and about with friends. I searched and searched, and when I came across this bright, fun one-piece, I was sold. And let me tell you, it fits like a dream. You never know if you're going to get too much of a toddler-pajama vibe when you do onesies, but this is quite the opposite, with the fitted legs and cinched ankles. I love it. And attention nursing mamas- this jumper has a button front which makes it totally breastfeeding-friendly!

For going out, I needed a pair of black shoes to pair with dark denim and some dresses already in my closet. These fit the bill perfectly. Comfy, cute, and able to be easily dressed up or dressed down.

And for hiking, I needed a lightweight fleece for layering, and a new hat since Hank stole my last one. This Patagonia top was perfect- I love the airy white color and how it can easily be worn under a jacket or on its own. And this hat was a great choice too- the trucker style provides a bit more sun coverage and the back aids in cooling off a sweaty head when outside.

I have been shopping from Zappos for years, but it wasn't until this order that I got a chance to use their first class customer service. I was SO impressed- the whole process took a few minutes via their live chat feature and received my new items within two days, in time to bring my shoes on a weekend away. VERY awesome.

I'm grateful I was able to revamp my spring wardrobe a bit via Zappos and their huge selection, and I encourage you to browse around if you're in the market for some great new pieces too!
